Sutton House

Sutton House is a residential care home where personal care, support and accommodation, is provided for five individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.

The property has a driveway to the front which is easily accessible off Sutton Road with a large enclosed pretty garden to the rear which is accessible to all the people living at the service. Each person has their own bedroom and en suite which is decorated in their chosen style. A communal toilet is available to all on the ground floor and the first floor with a large communal dining area and lounge. The property has a large communal kitchen and a conservatory.

We believe in empowering each person to be as independent as possible, and involve both social and health care professionals in the service we provide to the person.

Each individual has a named key worker alongside a c/o key worker who supports them with all of their individual needs, aims and aspirations.

People who live here are supported to participate in community activities, and to maintain their interests and voluntary work placements.

We have robust quality audits in place to ensure the service we provide remains at a high standard, and actively seek opinions from the people who live at the service and their families to continually improve.

People may live in the home for short or long periods while support is provided to facilitate their transition where appropriate into supported housing accommodation.

Both the support and care that people receive and the premises are regulated by the care quality commission.

We aim to provide a safe environment through our support packages so that individuals have the right lifestyle that is dignified and fulfilling. We aim to encourage the people living here to achieve their maximum potential in social skills and everyday living skills so that they may live as independent a life as possible

Sutton House is registered with and regulated by the Care Quality Commission.
